    I have an Andvance Parole valid till Feb'10 end. However right now am in India and wish to stay back even after the AP expiry. In this scenario is it good to apply for renewal AP from India or is it advisable to return back to US and then apply for AP?

    Does any one provide how much time it takes for the renewal if I apply for AP from India. Do I need to give the India address for delivery? I have some one in US who can recieve the AP by mail and can send it by post to India. Is this an advisable?

    I'm a July 2nd eb3 filer. Never thougt I could file 485 on July just like many people. I started an eb2 Perm early this year with a new position same company. A month later after filed eb3 based 485, my Eb2 Perm got approved, then filed eb2 140.

    The problem is my eb2 LC and pending 140 says that I'm holding a position. What can I do? should I withdraw eb2 140? Can I still take advantage of the pending eb2 140, or better leave it along?

    Ooops... I posted my reply to the pic in the gallery! To reiterate here, I love this photo... the only distracting aspect is the deteriorating wall in the shadows on the left. I played with some creative cloning and removed it and quite liked the results. Other than that, the color, symetry and lighting all come together in a really compelling way. It's one of my personal favorites!

    Hi Everyone,

    My H1B visa is valid till Sep 2009. I am planing to go for H1B extension. I heard, some people who applied for extension got rejected in recent past. I am planing to go to Canada for extension.

    Please share your advices and experiences... that would be helpful...
    Please suggest me following...

    - Better place to go for extension( Canada/ India/ some other?)
    - What are the things we need to be prepared before that
    - What are questions they are asking
    - What are the documnets we MUST carry

    I am working for company A on H1 which is valid until November 2010. I would like to work for Company B on EAD, since company B would not do H1
    To be on the safer side, I would to like have another H1 from company C, so that if anything happens with I-485, I can join company C on the H1.
    Is this possible? Do I have to travel out of country in order to work for company C on H1?

    In some of the forums I saw that, we can go to H1 from EAD as long as our H1B is unexpired. Pls let me know what you know about this.

    U must be fine, but you may just want to give a letter to them staating your current address and contact information, in case they need to fill out thei 94 forms and need accurate info. Its your choice :)

    Hi
    I am currently on L2 visa with EAD and working for a company as direct employee. My wife is in L1. Both of our visas,I-94 and my EAD are valid till OCT-2010.

    My wife has to go back to India as her current project is over.

    My question is can a L2 visa holder with EAD stay back and continue working in U.S.A, after L1 has left the country ?.

    Any information regarding this is highly appreciated.

    there have been several threads with same question. Unfortunately no confirmed answers.

    Do post what you find, if it is from a qualifed source like an attorney.
