I'm a great believer in Gandhi's beliefs.

You need to hunger-strike when your lawmakers don't listen to you when you have no representation.
Here, lawmakers will listen if you know how to lobby.

PD - Nov 2001, regular, EB2 - No 45 day letter yet - How about that ?
PD Sept 2001, RIR EB2 (completed MD SWA Nov 2003 before going BEC), response confirmation filed Jan 2005, no further word... Just got my 10th-year H-1B extension approved.
How's this for a sad, twisted case of one-upmanship!
Almost glad for the company, but at the same time really sorry for it.
I mentioned this in another thread, but I heard from my law firm that the Philly BEC was prioritizing resource allocation to entering cases into their system, rather than in reviewing (and approving) the cases...

I noticed soft LUD on 485s last week for me and my wife...not sure what that means..
A soft LUD today 03/04 on my/wife's I-485 application.
I see lot of cases of EB2-I with PDs of 2005/06 and EB3- I with PDs 2003/04 have recentely received LUDs/RFEs.
Let's wait what next visa bulletin says !

By the way, since when 100's of students mean a couple of folks? So far I have taught about 100 such students. And I and my colleagues have been observing problems with such students for over last 5 years or more (about 1000 students). These are not anomalies, rather statistically significant observations.
And, by the way, (almost) all these students join Indian consulting companies after graduation, which means (at least those) consulting companies care nothing about the quality of the employees. Banning H1-B access to such consulting companies will be of desirable, indeed.
You seem to be a guy from north India who dislikes anything remotely connected to south, or probably you are envious of the strides that south India has taken, anyways I do not care what YOU or Wadhwa says about the quality of education in some parts of the world.
I do not know how this discussion is going to help our cause.

So much for unions to support them for mid term elections.. Come next year, if dems still have same majority, H1B/L1B word will be removed from India's IT dictionary..
All they had to do was to introduce another $2000 fee for every Green Card Re-Captured. Most of us would have been out of this mess and they would have got the money they needed. This Grand posturing is extremely disturbing and i hate the politics behind it.

here is small shortcut:So switch off javascript
on IE go
Tools>Internet Options>Security>Internet>Custom level>Scripting
Close the browser and open it for again for your state.
also the format is like this if you want to send numerically

Rather I would like to add more items to what u have listed-
1. Its wrong for EB2 filers to find/marry a us citizen. That will be unethical of them to do as they will be jumping lines. Because u would be unable to do if u would have married non-citizen..so based on GCTest's logic please dont marry us citizen or if u have marriued continue to only use you EB2 application for processing :-)
2. Also people who are now planning of using EB5 (assuming u have now saved/gather enough money). So EB2, EB3 or other people u have been saving money and are now thinking of risking ur money/career/life on EB5 filing..please dont do that...because that will be unethical.....u r doing it bcos u now have money. Per GCTest's logic u did not having money u filed ur EB2 or EB3 application so if u have money now...dont try to use it.
GCTest...can u think of other conditions ...do post them.
Oh yes corollary to #1. Also bachelors in EB2/EB3 category make sure u dont fall inlove and plan to marry any girl/boy from the countries which are current. Help GCTest's cause.

I am of the opinion that the dates might retrogress to somewhere in 2005 June as the worst case (by Oct-Nov), because the 05 numbers should really be low to start with due to PERM issues. Again this is just my educated guess.

The average city dweller is either renting by paying a ton of money or is spending a ton of money for a house. Scary thing is either ways they are able to afford it. :D:D:D High rent and High living cost is the effect on average folks
Makes the US salary seem meaningless in comparison(comparing quality of life here and not just money). I am not convinced about this. Actually infrastructure setup in US is way beyond what we can expect in India. That adds to quality of life to great extent.
